Building Skills For Better Tomorrow

SIET is a beacon of hope, striving to empower the youth of low-income communities through affordable vocational education. Recognizing the pivotal role of technical education in propelling a nation's progress, SIET is dedicated to nurturing skilled manpower, boosting industrial productivity, and elevating the quality of life.

The Vocational Training Institute

Empowering the Youth

SIET, established by the Lodhie Foundation, is more than an institution; it drives social transformation. SIET empowers individuals to overcome poverty and build brighter futures by offering affordable vocational training. The institute's commitment to accessible education ensures opportunities are available to those who may otherwise be excluded or lack resources.

Practical Skills and Knowledge

SIET's curriculum is carefully designed to equip students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today's competitive job market. Through hands-on training and industry-relevant courses, students gain the confidence and expertise to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the economy.

Fostering Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Beyond technical skills, SIET fosters a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. The institute encourages students to think critically, problem-solve, and develop a mindset of self-sufficiency. By nurturing these qualities, SIET empowers students to become not just skilled workers, but also potential leaders and innovators.

Affiliation with the Sindh Board of Technical Education

Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) was established under Sindh Ordinance No. XVI of 1970 to replace the defunct West Pakistan Board of Technical Education. The Board is responsible for organizing, regulating, developing and controlling technical, vocational, industrial and commercial education in the province of Sindh.

SIET is affiliated with the Sindh Board of Technical Education, under section 12 (2)(iv) of its principal ordinance 1970, for all of the courses

SIET is proudly affiliated with the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE). This affiliation underscores our commitment to providing quality technical education that meets the highest industry standards.

Registering courses with a government entity like SBTE is crucial for several reasons:

  • Quality Assurance: Government affiliation ensures that educational institutions adhere to specific standards and guidelines, guaranteeing a high-quality learning experience for students.
  • Recognition and Validation: SBTE-certified courses are widely recognized and valued by employers, increasing graduates' job prospects.
  • Credibility and Trust: Government affiliation lends credibility to educational institutions, building trust among students, parents, and the community.
  • Legal Compliance: Operating under the purview of a government body ensures that institutions comply with relevant laws and regulations, protecting the interests of students and stakeholders.

By being affiliated with SBTE, SIET demonstrates its commitment to providing a quality education that is not only valuable but also recognized and respected within the industry and the broader community.
